The staff was extremely rude. Demanding they copy ID from everyone in our group- not just the person paying for the room. In the back of the hotel was a group of men with several dogs hanging out in an area that I guess is suppose to be the courtyard. It was nothing but dirt, holes and a few stray weeds. Our room looked ok but had a funky smell. The outside doors were not locked though out the night. One of our vehicles got broken into and items stolen. Including checks which were then used later. Luckily those were stopped. When the break in was reported at the front desk. The response was "Yeah I'm sorry, that happens here." We thought since it was a Clarion and a Conference center it would automatically be a great place to stay. Absolutely NO! The whole place was shady- bad vibes. I will not stay at another Clarion. We will NEVER return to this place.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights this past weekend. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. Other than that this location did not feel safe nor was it clean. The room was run down, it had bullet holes in the wall, the bathtub was patched with flex seal. The mirror was held together with blue painters tape and they didn't make up the room at all. Each morning we were greeted by a guy on the back entry drinking a tall boy and smoking a cigarette. I would recommend elsewhere until they can get the funds from the owner to fix this place up a bit. They are obviously under staffed and underfunded. This is a last resort facility at best. Which is a shame considering Greeley is updating the downtown area and this hotel has been here many years and once was considered a very high end hotel. Complaints are common here, believe them, they are real. Good people working there, really poor facility
What can I say not anything like the pictures. Sketchy area of downtown. It has a pool but do not have the desire to use it. The place needs some major help and renovation. The parking is on the backside of the hotel. Not worth the money we are being charged for it. Might have been a nice hotel in it's heyday. Not so much now. I am so disappointed I don't even want to stay here.
This place that needs to be renovated because it has been run down. But the stay was wonderful with staff helping out. Alex and Heidi and Bryce was the greatest people there to help with our stay.
I love this place. The staff are like family to me. After all I've been through over the last 9 months these people have been here for me through thick and thin. I can't say enough..as for the hotel, it needs updating and they are working on that. Covid put a halt on renovations but it's starting to turn around. The biggest setback would be the train but I hardly notice it anymore. You get used to it. If you wanna go where the people care and treat you right, this is the best place in Greeley as well as best bang for your buck. No bugs they are clean and the will accommodate your needs.
